Is there is a showroom? How do I see your work?
Yes there is a showroom. It is located at 1414 C Brunswick Ave, Far Rockaway. You can call the office to make an appointment. If you can’t make it to our show room, our designers can show you pictures of actual work that has been done by Empire Closet.

How long does the process take?
The process varies depending on the job, material, etc.
- For basic units, it can take up to a week or two to get it installed.
- For a more complex unit, it can take up to three to four weeks to get It installed.
What is a typical price for a custom build unit?
Our products range in prices, depends on your design, choices of material, finishes, and accessories. Your consultant will work with you to keep within your budget and design a unit that will best work to help you get more organized space.
What type of material do you use?
We carry a wide range of materials. We have melamine, MDF(medium-density fiberboard), wood, High-Gloss, custom stained, and Lacquer.
Other than Closets, do you do any other services?
Yes, we also do Laundry Room, Pantries, Office Units, Media Centers, Wall Beds, Radiators Covers, and More. We do not do Granite or Marble countertops. Once your consultant gives you a complimentary design, they will advise you about what you can do.
Do you do doors?
We offer some doors but don’t repair closets doors, replace hardware (tracks, etc) or doors are usually on the units directly, they will advise you what can be done.
Are you locally owned or a franchise?
We are locally owned and operated. We are based out of Queens, New York. All units are made right here in New York.
Is Empire Closets Licensed, Insured and Bonded?

What do I need to do to prepare my space for installation?
Before the installation, please remove all your belonging to clear where the unit will be built. Our installers will not take that responsibility to do so. If it is not cleared out on the day of the install. Your installation will be rescheduled. You can also paint your space if you like before the installation day.
Can the installers remove my existing closet or cabinets?
Our standard tear-out is a shelve and a rod with cleats. If there are larger units and, additional items that need to be taken apart, your designer will let you know if we can do it. We don’t carry any items away. Installers will take it to an approve space in your home.
What is your return policy?
Since everything is custom made to fit your space, we do not offer returns.
Do your products come with warranty?
Yes, there is a three(3)-year limited warranty.
